Cancellation Rules

CANCELLATION OF ADVANCE TICKETS (NOT ONLINE TICKETS)

Cancellation of advance tickets booked from HRTC Two Months Advance Booking Counters is made subject to refunds as follow :

  • When tickets are submitted prior to 12 hours before departure of bus, refund shall be allowed after deducting 10% amount of tickets.
  • Where tickets are submitted within 12 hours prior to the departure of bus, refund shall be allowed after deducting 25% amount of tickets.
  • Where tickets are submitted within 2 hours after the departure of bus, refund shall be allowed after deducting 75% amount of tickets.
  • Where tickets are submitted after 2 hours of the departure of bus, no refund shall be allowed.
  • Reservation / Handling charges if any are not refundable.
  • These cancellation rules do not applicable for Online Booked Advance Tickets (E-Tickets).

Cancellation rules for (E-Tickets) are as under :

  • An amount of 10% of ticket amount will be deducted in case the cancellation of e-tickets is up to 12 hours prior to the departure time of bus from orginating station of the route.
  • An amount of 25% of ticket amount will be deducted in case the cancellation of e-tickets is with in 4 to 12 hours prior to the Departure Time of the bus from orginating station of the route.
  • No refund will be made in case of E-Tickets with in 4 hours prior to the departure time of the bus from originating station of the route.
  • The e-Tickets can only be cancelled by the user by going to their accounts home page upto 4 hours prior to the departure time of the bus from orginating station of the route. Within 4 hours to the departure time of the bus, e-Tickets can not be cancelled through any mode i.e Online or at HRTC Counters.
  • The e-Tickets can only be cancelled by the User himself upto 4 hours prior to the Departure Time of the bus from the Orginating Station of the Route by logging in to his/her account and then clicking on Print/Cancel link shown against the e-Ticket. e-Tickets can not be cancelled with in 4 hours prior to the Departure Time of the bus from the Orginating Station of the route through any mode. For example : If an e-Ticket is booked from Shimla-Delhi for Rampur-Delhi route departing at 5:00PM from Rampur (Orginating Station of the Route) and 9:30PM from Shimla ( Source of the Passenger), then the cancellation rules will be applicable from the Departure Time from Rampur (Orginating Station of the Route) and not from Shimla (Source Station of the Passenger e-Ticket). This e-Ticket can be cancelled by the user himself upto 1:00PM. No cancellation will be allowed for this e-Ticket after 1:00PM through any mode.No Email request will be entertained for cancellation of tickets.
  • The E-Ticket Booked with in 4 hours of Departure of Bus from originating station will not be Cancelled.
